FLT Meeting Information
The Friends of The Legacy Trail meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Nature Center at Oscar Scherer State Park.
The park is located at 1843 S. Tamiami Trail, The park admission fee is waived for meeting attendees.
September 7, 2010 - 6:00 pm
Jessica Ritter, Senior Planner with Sarasota County Parks and Recreation will speak to the East Bay Street Trailhead Park Planning. She also will address the park planning process. There also will be updates on Trail matters from Sarasota County, the Sheriff's Office and Oscar Scherer State Park.
October 5, 2010 - 6:00 pm
John McCarthy, General Manager, Sarasota County Parks and Recreation will discuss Greenways, Trails and Blueways with special focus on the Legacy Trail. John will also address Parks issues. There also will be updates on Trail matters from Sarasota County, the Sheriff's Office and Oscar Scherer State Park.
